It is with great pleasure and impatience that we announce the 2 concerts of Giorgos Xylouris at Skiathos Garden Theatre. The residents and visitors of Skiathos have the opportunity to meet and enjoy the concert of the great artist, Giorgos Xylouris. The eminent performer of Cretan traditional music and excellent lute virtuoso, comes to Skiathos.

Giorgis Xylouris, (also known as Psarogiorgis) was raised in the musical tradition of Anogia, and is a descendant of a family of musicians from this mountainous village. His uncle, Nikos Xylouris, contributed to the revival of Cretan traditional music and the development of modern political music. His father, Psarantonis, is the well-known Cretan lyre player. Participating in traditional events in Greece and abroad, Giorgis Xylouris is a performer on an international level.
