Dream on the Wave

A dance theatre performance based on the novel "A Dream on the Wave" by the famous author from Skiathos, Alexandros Papadiamantis.

Is it possible for humans to survive away from nature? A hymn to nature, to beauty, to true love without expectations, through the words of Papadiamantis.

"I have never felt myself lighter, as long as I carried that weight... The human who succeeds in capturing with his hands for a moment a dream, his own dream..."

The performance features videos/projections of the actual landscapes of Skiathos narrated by the author in the book „A dream on the Wave“.

The music is original and composed especially for this play. The lyrics of the songs are based on Papadiamantis' writing.

The narration is in Greek and English.
