Plato’s Cave
A dance theatre performance with professional dancers, original music compsition and video art, based on the allegory of The Cave by the ancient Greek philosopher Plato.
What is the cave today? How could we manage to go out of the cave? Do we really want to go out of it? Even two and a half thousand years after the world-famous philosopher Plato, whose thinking still influences the modern civilisation, questions like these have not lost their relevance. The artificial reality of “shadows”, the awakening, the search, the discovery, the consequences are dramatized and emotionally presented by a team of professional artists. The original music composition of the performance and the powerful video art are reinforcing the dramaturgy of the performance.
